Fall Update - Nothing Too Much, just stuff I want to do.

I called September a slow month because halfway through, it felt like it was dragging on. I wasn't mad about that, since I had a lot of tasks to do in September that needed chipping away at, and a slow month (that wasn’t mind-numbing) felt good to have. But now that October’s here, it feels like September slipped through my fingers without me realizing it.

In the first few days of October, I found myself wishing I spent my September a bit better. I wished I was more productive, wished I spent more time on certain projects and tasks, but looking back at September, I saw that I did push myself to work every day. Maybe burned myself out a little bit during a weekend, but nothing too bad. But September was a month when I tried to work out little knots in my day-to-day life.

Not only did I work on a collection, a large task that requires constant late nights in a row to complete, but I also managed to get myself to do some other projects that needed to be done soon.

October is probably going to be busy too, not just because I have events and ideas I need to prepare for, but also because it’s October. I want to do things that make it feel like fall is here.

I want to do at least one Halloween/Fall market so that I could put out some fall/halloween themed products, especially since I have some stickers that would fit with the season.

I want pass out candy, and I’m actually set to do that! I signed up for trunk or treat since it’s basically the only way I will get to pass out candy, and I have a theme I’m excited to do. Plus, my dad kept hinting he wanted to do another trunk or treat, so I kind of had to sign us up. (Again, it’s mostly becasue we can’t give out candy on Halloween night given we live in a dead area). But i’m happy that my dad has something to be excited about, gives him something to do other than work.

I want to complete my halloween prompts. I’ve done all four days, so I say it’s been going good. This year’s prompts are one of my favorites. Mostly, I’ve been drawing, so hopefully I’ll find myself writing for at least one of the prompts.

Then of course, there’s the basic fall/halloween stuff I’m going to do. Crave pumpkins (reserved for halloween day), makes treats, visit Spirit halloween (they have Spongebob halloween blind keychains that I wanna get), and then I’m looking forward to the halloween movie night my brother and i always have. This year we’re thinking about watching Evil Dead. It looks like the top choice, but I’m leaving it open in case something else catching our attention.
